Department Responsibilities

The Bridge and Survey Department is responsible for:

  • Right-of-Way Relocation
  • Vacation of Public Right-of-Ways
  • Fulfillment of Public Information Requests
  • Research of Records for Improvement Projects
  • Acquisition of Easements for Bridges and Culverts
  • Retracement of County and Township Road Centerlines
  • Evaluation of Existing Structures for Budgeting and Replacement Programming
  • Annual inspection, Review, and Reporting Using the ODOT Structure Management System
  • Recovery of Ancient Monumentation Along County, Township, Original Tracts, Section, and Lot Lines
